Atelier Maser presents

Assemble is the first ever group exhibition presented by Atelier Maser and will bring together seven of the leading names in Contemporary Irish Art:

Helen Steele, Lola Donoghue, Leah Hewson, Deirdre Breen, Jane Fogarty, Alice Fitzgerald & Aoife Scott.

Join us for a drinks reception with Jameson Ireland for the opening preview: Thursday March 12, from 6-9pm. Exhibition continues Friday March 13 – Friday April 3.

The exhibition will showcase new work by all seven artists, with the ambition to present an engaging and accurate snapshot of contemporary art today. Representing a wide variety of disciplines including painting, printmaking, sculpture and textiles, the exhibition will be ambitious in nature and will celebrate Irish artists at varying stages of their careers.

Individually, the artists are at the forefront of their creative practices and are making waves in the creative industry. Visitors can expect an immersive exhibition bursting with colour, form and collaboration.

Helen Steele

Is a highly acclaimed award winning Irish designer and artist. She has combined her mastery of her craft and the use of colour theory to create a unique style of wearable art in her luxurious fabrics and signature prints.

Lola Donoghue

Is an abstract painter, living and working in Galway. Imbued with a painterly, ethereal quality, her work is characterised by a predominantly white-on-white palette, layered with a mix of muted colours and splashes of bright neon.

Leah Hewson

Continually searches for ways to access the brain activity which occurs within the unconscious mind in her work. Currently, the direction of Leah's work examines the role of the unconscious in the mechanism of vision.

Deirdre Breen

Is a multidisciplinary designer and visual artist. Investigating form, colour theory and geometry, her artworks comprise screenprints, textiles and site-specific mural installations.

Jane Fogarty

Jane Fogarty is a Dublin based artist working in painting and sculpture. Her work stems from an interest in the ways we understand the passing of time and its translation into visual language. The works can be read as accumulations of moments exploring colour, structure and composition.

Alice Fitzgerald

Is a Dublin-based visual artist and designer. Through an abstract and minimal approach, she orchestrates playful interactions between line form and colour. She explores how elemental forms strike a balance between order and chaos, with every element forming part of the whole.

Aoife Scott

A keen outdoor adventurer and a lover of nature Aoife feels a great responsibility as an artist to act, react and protect. The deep seated disquiet she feels about the current environmental crisis and the greed and consumerist society we are living in, is the main focus of her practice.

Atelier Maser was established in 2018 by Internationally acclaimed Irish artist Maser. It is an independent, self-funded gallery, located on Charlemont street, in the heart of Dublin city. The space is custom designed to be a multifunctional - functioning as a gallery, an events venue and a professional working studio for Maser to create his original works.
